Synopsis

A high pressure ridge averaging 30.1 inches exits slowly eastward today. A weak trough averaging 29.8 inches slides eastward across the lake tonight. Behind the trough, a weak ridge averaging 29.9 inches slides eastward across the lake on Monday, exits eastward Monday night, and is followed by a cold front sweeping southeastward across the lake on Tuesday. Behind the cold front, a ridge averaging 30.0 inches builds from northern Ontario through Thursday.

Today

Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to 15 knots. A chance of rain early this afternoon. Rain likely late. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet.

Tonight

Southeast winds 10 knots or less. Rain in the evening, then a chance of rain after midnight. Waves 2 feet or less.

Monday

Northwest winds 10 knots or less becoming west. Waves 1 foot or less.

Monday Night

Southwest winds 5 to 15 knots becoming south. A chance of showers overnight. Waves 2 feet or less.

Tuesday
